NorthWestern Energy tells MTN news that the outage map presented incorrect information, showing a Bozeman power outage impacting 1000+ customers.

Public Relations Specialist for NorthWestern Energy, Jo Dee Black, told MTN news that three people reported a power outage in the Bozeman area on the morning of June 18th.

Black goes on to say that she is unsure why the outage map showed that more than a thousand people lost power, and that power has been restored to those impacted.

Earlier this morning, Northwestern Energy's Outage Map showed 1,001 - 3,000 customers affected by a power outage in Bozeman.

There is no official word as to exactly what the cause may be, but all indications point to the possibility of fallen limbs and power lines brought down by snow.
