On September 20, 2018, Carol Jean Kuhnert peacefully passed away at her home with her son, Mike Kuhnert, and his wife, Courtney, by her side.
Carol was born and raised in Willow City, North Dakota. After graduating from Willow City High, she attended North Dakota State University. After finishing college with a degree as a medical lab technician, her career took her to California, Minnesota, and finally to Florida. She retired to Bozeman, Montana, to be closer to her son and his wife.
Carol is survived by her brothers, Matt, Martin, and Paul Sanderson; and her sister, Irene Reamer.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Vernon Kuhnert; her parents, Gerald and Inga Sanderson; and her brothers, Kris and Jon Sanderson.
A celebration of her life will be held this spring in Craig, Montana.
In lieu of flowers, Carol requested that people consider making a donation to an animal shelter of their choice.
