BOZEMAN – Emily Dickinson School 1st-grade teacher Jeana Blomstrom accepted a “One Class At a Time” check for $250 Monday. The money will purchase new books for the class since students have already read all the ones they have.

Stephanie Hartman from First Interstate Bank and KBZK’s Chet Layman presented the check.

“One Class at a Time” is a joint effort between Montana’s News Station and First Interstate Bank to help fulfill needs of area schools.

Teachers, parents, students or anyone who is aware of a special project that would enhance the educational objectives in a classroom can apply from Aug. 1 through April 1. This program is currently available to schools located in the KBZK Bozeman, Q2 Billings, KRTV Great Falls and KXLH Helena KXLF Butte viewing areas. If you are unsure if your school is located in an area serviced by one of these TV stations, please contact Kristin Morgan at kristin@kbzk.com or 406-570-0306.
