The organization should fit within the bank’s giving requirements:
· non-religious (but Love Inc., Family Promise, or other org that services any denomination are ok)
· non-political or controversial
· services provided to local residents in our local area (i.e., not a group going to serve in another country)
· not for the benefit of a single individual
For the month of July, Tiny Tails K-9 Rescue is recognized as our recipient of First Security Bank’s Our Community First Award. MTN’s Missy O’Malley meets the caring, selfless directors, a foster dog-parent that has been involved for years and Dr. Quigley, the veterinarian who takes care of all of the animals.
The monthly award for a non-profit doing outstanding work in the valley goes to the BELGRADE COMMUNITY COALITION. MTN’s Missy O’Malley caught up with the board president to find out the happenings of the summer.
BOZEMAN – For the month of May we recognize Big Sky Youth Empowerment for Our Community First recipient this month. They have changed hundreds of at-risk teenage lives, getting them outside, active and connected with other students. Congratulations to BYEP and keep up the great work!
For the month of April, the Gallatin Ice Foundation has been selected as the Community First Award for their outstanding work in southwest Montana.
