The Super Bowl is almost here, and everyone has different reasons for getting hyped up about the game. Some people love seeing their favorite teams compete for the championship title. Others can’t wait to see celebrities perform in the big halftime show. But, we think it’s fair to say that game-day food ranks near the top of the list as all football fans’ most-anticipated part of the event. That’s why we want to help get you ready to feed your football party crowd with the Super Bowl food specials offered this year.

Although a handful of restaurants still haven’t yet announced official specials for the big game, it’s a given that many will take advantage of the opportunity. Here are some of the chains around the country making a big play for customers this year by offering Super Bowl food specials.

7-Eleven

7-Eleven stores have a super convenient Super Bowl food special for 2022. Anyone who orders through the chain’s 7NOW delivery app on Sunday, Feb. 13, can receive a free cheese, pepperoni or 7-Meat pizza. The delivery-only offer will be automatically applied at checkout, according to StoreBrands.

Applebees

Applebee’s Super Bowl food deal is all about boneless wings!  Applebees will give away 20 free boneless wings with any to-go or delivery order of $40 or more. You can order through the restaurant’s website or mobile app. Also, if you opt for delivery, you can score free delivery with the same deal. Just use the “BIGGAME22” promo code at checkout.

Arby’s

In 2021, Arby’s offered a 20% discount (up to $25 off) to any customer who ordered from GrubHub. If they offer this Super Bowl food deal again this year on game day, you can choose from any of your favorite sandwiches, sides, and/or drinks!

Arby's

Blaze Pizza

The create-your-own pizza restaurant chain has a special carryout deal for Super Bowl Sunday. According to ChewBoom, customers can pick up a large pepperoni pizza for $9.95 or order two large two-topping pizzas and two cheesy bread bundles for just $32. Pizza anyone?

Buffalo Wild Wings

Wings and football go together like peanut butter and jelly. Buffalo Wild Wings has a fun deal for the 2022 game. If the game ends in a tie and goes into overtime, customers can get six free boneless or traditional wings that can be redeemed from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 28. Who says no one wins in a tie game?

Burger King encouraged 2021 football fans to order some game-time eats from GrubHub. Anyone who ordered $15 or more got a free Whopper. We’re still waiting to see if the offer a similar deal in 2022.

This is a deal that your kids will love. If you order a Family Fun Pack online to bring hone for the big game, your kids get a goody bag with toys, activities, an activity sheet, and 250 e-tickets to use on a future visit to the restaurant. The Family Fun Pack includes two large one-topping pizzas and unicorn churros. This deal is available for pick-up or delivery.

DiGiorno Pizza

While DiGiorno Pizza is not a restaurant, the frozen-pizza maker has a giveaway for anyone who loves a pizza pie. The contest is based on the Super Bowl LVI score: The DiGiorno Pi Score Sweepstakes invites customers to enter online now through Super Bowl Sunday for a chance to win a free pizza if the score of the game has a combination of the numbers in pi (3.14). So, if at any time in the game the score is 14-3, then 1,500 lucky winners will be selected from entries submitted to win a coupon for a free pizza.

As a bonus, there is a chance one lucky winner could win 267 DiGionoro Pizzas. However, that drawing will only happen if any player finishes the game with exactly 314 passing yards, there are more than 3.14 turnovers (so at least 4) in the game, or any scoring drive takes exactly 3 minutes and 14 seconds.

Domino’s

Domino’s has a fantastic offer that isn’t reserved for a Super Bowl food deal, but will make hungry fans happy! The Mix & Match Deal lets you buy two or more food items at a cost of $5.99 for each item. Choose from medium two-topping pizzas, salad, specialty chicken, an oven-baked sandwich, stuffed cheesy bread, bread twists, eight pieces of boneless chicken, pasta in a dish or a marbled cookie brownie. How To Watch The Super Bowl Without Cable

Super Bowl LVI will air on NBC on Feb. 13. If you don’t have cable, you can still tune into the Super Bowl. You can stream it on Peacock or the NBC Sports app, for example. But if you want to avoid subscription fees, the original way to watch the Super Bowl remains the most cost-effective and reliable: install an over-the-air digital antenna. Since the game always airs on either CBS, Fox or NBC — three of the major over-the-air broadcast networks — it’s totally free for anyone with a TV and antenna to watch on their local affiliate.

If you’ve already got your over-the-air antenna set up and your local NBC affiliate is already scanned into your channel lineup, simply flip to that station on the day of the game and enjoy the coverage from start to finish, fee-free, including NBC’s pre- and post-game shows, all the commercials and the halftime show.

If you don’t have an over-the-air antenna, check out this guide on finding the best one for your needs, then install it and run a scan for channels on your TV. Your local NBC affiliate should be among the ones you receive and that’s where you’ll want to flip on game day.
