Warming up nicely Friday afternoon and again on Saturday across Montana but that is it for warmer than normal temperatures. High pressure will be breaking down by Sunday as the next weather maker arrives with a pacific cold front and scattered showers.

Cooler than normal temperatures are likely across the state of Montana next week with cooler than normal temperatures for western Montana to well below normal temperatures across eastern Montana.

Ready for Fall?

Autumnal Equinox begins Saturday evening. First full day of Fall will be on Sunday. This is the time of year when the sun’s most direct rays strike the equator producing “equal” hours of daylight and darkness. This also means in the weeks to come shorter days and longer nights by the time we get to the Winter Solstice in late December.

We always welcome your weather video’s and/or pictures. If you see any good fall colors out there lets us know and send us a picture via email: newstips@kbzk.com or newstips@kxlf.com
