More rain or snow tonight for SW Montana

BOZEMAN – Anything goes with this weather pattern this afternoon and evening for SW Montana. Deep trough with a slower moving Low is pushing considerable moist air up into Montana. Look for rain, snow and possibly a few thunderstorms into Thursday evening.

BOZEMAN: LOW: 32°; HIGH FRIDAY: 48°. Cool and wet weather pattern to continue into this evening for Bozeman. Valley rain and mountain snow should diminish by early Friday morning. Look for patchy valley fog Friday morning and increasing clouds by late Friday afternoon.

BUTTE: LOW: 26°; HIGH FRIDAY: 49°. Scattered rain or snow is likely for Butte through midnight but should be ending with clearing skies by sunrise Friday. Patchy valley fog is possible Friday morning. Clouds will roll back in by Friday afternoon. Slushy snow accumulations are possible over nearby mountain passes Thursday night.

DILLON: LOW: 28°; HIGH FRIDAY: 48°. Valley rain and mountain snow is moving across Beaverhead country and will diminish overnight. Mountain passes along the MT/ID state line could see slushy snow accumulations tonight. Friday will start off mostly sunny but clouds will push back in by afternoon.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 26°; HIGH FRIDAY: 44°. Rain or snow will continue for West Yellowstone and Yellowstone National Park. Rain is likely to change over to snow after sunset and minor accumulations are possible. Friday starts off mostly sunny but clouds and a few mountain snow showers could build back into the region by Friday afternoon and evening.
