Today’s Forecast:
We are once again dealing with an abundance of sunshine and above average temperatures for the area for your Thursday as highs work back to the low 60s during the afternoon.   Light wind and clear skies will allow our overnight lows to dip to near or slightly below freezing overnight.

BOZEMAN: High – 62; Low – 33. After a cool start, you should expect our temperatures to climb quickly during the late morning and early afternoon with clear skies.

BUTTE: High – 61; Low – 27. Light wind and mainly sunny conditions for your Thursday.

DILLON: High – 61; Low – 32. Plenty of sunshine and a light breeze out of the south for the afternoon.  Clear skies will mean temperatures near freezing this evening.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High – 55; Low – 25. Cool but calm for your Thursday with mainly sunny skies through the afternoon and evening.

MILD SYSTEM BREAKS DOWN NEXT WEEK:
The longer-range models are indicating that we will stay mild and dry through Sunday with highs in the 60s for most of southwest Montana.  Early next week we will see a cooler airmass approach the west coast of the United States and will likely drop temperatures starting Tuesday and Wednesday into the 50s.  Rain is possible on Wednesday for parts of southwest Montana with a northwest flow expected to bring cooler air and scattered showers which could include snow by the end of next week.
