Very cold tonight with additional chances of snow tomorrow

Some light snow showers are possible across the area tonight with another round of light to moderate snow arriving by tomorrow afternoon. Very cold weather is expected tonight and tomorrow night.

City by City Forecast:

BOZEMAN: LOW: 16°; HIGH SUNDAY: 32°. A few flurries will be possible this evening and tonight. Temps will drop well in to the teens tonight so bundle up! Another band of snow is possible by tomorrow afternoon. Chance of Precipitation: 30%. Additional snowfall accumulation of up to a 1” is possible.

BUTTE: LOW: 11°; HIGH SUNDAY: 31°. A few flurries and snow showers are possible tonight. A couple of breaks in the clouds will allow temperatures to drop close to the single digits. Another area snow will be possible by tomorrow afternoon with temps struggling to get to freezing. Chance of Precipitation: 20%, Additional snowfall accumulation of up to a 1” is possible.

DILLON: LOW: 12°; HIGH SUNDAY: 35°. Most of the area will be dry, cold and cloudy tonight. A few flurries are possible in the mountains, but snow will struggle to get out of the mountains around Dillon. Chance of Precipitation: 20%.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 3°; HIGH SUNDAY 28°. Temperatures will be getting very cold tonight with lingering snow flurries in the area. Tomorrow will remain cloudy and cold with temperatures staying in the 20s. A few snow showers can’t be ruled out tomorrow. Chance of Precipitation: 20%.

 NEXT WEEK

Tomorrow afternoon’s round of snow will be the last one we see for a bit. The powerful northwesterly flow in the jet stream will shift to our east which will allow sunny skies and average temperatures return to the area for most of next week.
