BOZEMAN – Not as cold this weekend. Temperatures should slowly moderate closer to seasonal averages especially by Sunday.

Great travel weather pattern this weekend with the exception of light snow across Yellowstone National Park into Eastern Idaho and just a slight chance for West Yellowstone.

This cold and dry weather pattern will begin to break down late weekend as several pacific storms move into the Pacific NW and into the Northern Rockies. This will bring periods of snow and possible travel impacts over mountain passes beginning Monday especially along the MT/ID state line.

The next best chance for widespread valley and mountain snow is expected Tuesday night into Wednesday.
