Geminid meteor shower viewing forecast

Today’s Forecast:
Expect a brisk wind for your Thursday with a southwest wind between 10-20 mph with highs in the middle 30s for most of the region.  Skies across southwest Montana are expected to be partly cloudy for the afternoon and evening before lows fall back to the teens.

BOZEMAN: High – 38; Low – 16. Partly cloudy skies for the afternoon with the wind out of the southwest between 5-15 mph.

BUTTE: High – 37; Low – 17. Expect a southwest breeze between 10-20 mph with highs in the middle 30s through the afternoon under partly cloudy skies.

DILLON: High – 36; Low – 9. Partly to mostly cloudy skies early with clearing for the afternoon and evening.  Wind out of the west between 10-20 mph.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: High – 28; Low – 0. Chilly temperatures with clouds sticking around through the noon hour before clearing during the afternoon and evening.

WEEKEND OUTLOOK: 
A weak Pacific storm is expected to move into the area Friday into Saturday morning.  There is a good chance of light snow in the mountains of southwest Montana with a chance of flurries overnight Friday into early Saturday morning in the valleys.  Temperatures are not expected to drop much with this incoming storm leaving highs in the upper 30s to low 40s Saturday and Sunday.
