BOZEMAN – Strong winds continue to be the biggest weather issue tonight into Friday. Wind prone areas along the Continental divide and upper Yellowstone will be strong enough to produce travel hazards with crosswinds and high profile vehicles.

The National Weather Service has extended the HIGH WIND WARNING for the Livingston area through Saturday morning.

Wind gusts over 60 mph are possible at times. If the winds are strong enough for travel hazards MDT will close I-90 and detour travelers through Livingston to get around a dangerous crosswind area. Plan on extra travel time.
