Nice Spring weather to end by Saturday morning

BOZEMAN – Finally a little warm and dry Springlike weather pattern for SW Montana today and again on Friday. High-pressure will produce a few days with temperatures up to or slightly above seasonal averages across Montana. In fact, there is a slight chance a few areas locally could be very close to 70 degrees Friday.

THE NEXT WEATHER MAKER

Unfortunately, the next weather maker will arrive Friday night into Saturday morning. A cold front will drop through the state from NW to SE. This front will bring scattered valley rain and higher mountain snow along with gusty winds and slightly cooler temperatures this weekend.

BOZEMAN: LOW: 34°; HIGH FRIDAY: 69°. Mild with slightly above normal temperatures tonight and Friday. Look for increasing clouds by Friday afternoon and showers by Friday evening. Ahead of a cold front surface wind will be increasing Friday afternoon 15 to 25 mph and gusting to 40 mph.

BUTTE: LOW: 33°; HIGH FRIDAY: 65°. Warm to mild for Butte through Friday afternoon. Clouds, showers and stronger surface wind will be increasing by Friday late afternoon and evening. Better chance for off and on showers will develop Friday night through Sunday morning.

DILLON: LOW: 37°; HIGH FRIDAY: 66°. Dry and mild for Dillon Thursday afternoon through Friday afternoon. A cold front will hit your area by Saturday morning and with this front look for scattered valley rain and mountain snow along with gusty winds.

WEST YELLOWSTONE: LOW: 25°; HIGH FRIDAY: 58°. Dry and mild for West Yellowstone tonight into Friday. A cold front will hit your area Friday night into Saturday morning and produce scattered rain or snow and gusty winds.
