BOZEMAN – A complex weather pattern will develop over Montana beginning Friday and continue into the first half of next week.

Several Pacific storms will pass through the region, some weak and some a little stronger. As each storm passes through temperatures will fall and will end up well below average by early next week with morning lows below freezing. This will likely lead to rain changing to snow down in the valleys impacting commutes early next week.

The first system will arrive on Friday. This is a fast-moving storm and will start to produce rain, isolated thunderstorms, and higher mountain snow by morning and will exit the region by early evening Friday. Another side effect of this storm system will be increasing surface winds all day Friday.

Several other storms will move back into Montana beginning Saturday evening through Wednesday of next week.
