BOZEMAN – Another dry day for SW Montana with temperatures slightly cooler than normal. Don’t complain about the 70s locally as much of the country is experiencing some of the hottest temperatures of the summer season.

Zonal flow aloft is pushing a mostly dry cold front through the state today. This front is producing a few isolated showers and thunderstorms across NW Montana but for the rest of the state, gusty surface winds will be the more widespread weather concern.

Strongest of wind gusts will be along the Rocky Mountain front and adjacent plains of central Montana, whereas, southern Montana will see occasional wind gusts to 30 mph through this evening.
