BOZEMAN – Thunderstorms are developing right on cue over SW Montana Thursday around noon. As these storms lift slowly to the NE they could become strong to severe.
Damaging wind gusts and/or damaging hail are the main threats with these storms this afternoon.
Storm Prediction Center has a “slight” risk for strong to severe thunderstorms through sunset over SW Montana.
Frequent lightning and brief heavy rain are also possible with the thunderstorms this afternoon.
